Harriet Beecher Stowe

                                    HARRIET BENCHER STOWE IN THE CIVIL WAR 




          Harriet Bencher Stowe was the woman who wrote famous anti-slavery classic book " Uncle Tom's Cabin. In the book, Tom is an African American guy and he was a slave. Tom died by his cruel master. The book also purported to expose the harsh realities of slavery. Then, at the end of 19 century, Abraham Lincoln met with Harriet Bencher Stowe and said how she wrote the book have caused the war. The story seemed authenticated view that slavery somehow caused the war.
